Artist Submission Guidelines

Artists are invited to submit their artworks for display on the Adisilbay Online Art Gallery.

1. High-Resolution Profile Photograph.
2. Images of Selected Artworks with clear numbering.
3. For each artwork, provide the following details: Title of the Artwork, Medium, Dimensions (Height × Width in cm/inches), Year of Creation (if applicable), and Selling Price (INR).
4. Submit artwork images in JPEG format (or inserted in a Word document) with good resolution. Maximum file size: 5 MB per image.
5. Submit your Artist Bio-data and Artist brief Statement (250 words).
6. A short video (optional) introducing yourself and sharing your artistic journey may also be submitted.
7. Last Date for Submission: 30 July 2026.
8. A confirmation email will be sent upon successful receipt of your submission.
9. Please use the same email address for all future correspondence.

Artwork Ownership & Availability

1. The original artwork shall remain the sole property of the artist.
2. The artist agrees to keep each artwork available for sale through Adisilbay Online Art Gallery for at least three (3) months from the date of its publication on the website.
3. Once an artwork is sold or removed, the artist may replace it with another artwork.
4. Adisilbay reserves the exclusive right to accept or reject artworks for display.
5. There will be no subscription fee for the first year.
6. Adisilbay shall be the sole point of contact for all enquiries related to artworks displayed on the website.

Sales, Pricing & Authenticity

1. A 30% commission shall be charged on every artwork sold through the Adisilbay platform. Artists are free to determine the selling price of their artworks accordingly.
2. Adisilbay reserves the right to add a watermark to all artwork images displayed on the website.
3. Downloading, copying, reproducing, or taking screenshots of artwork images from the website is strictly prohibited.
4. When an artwork is sold, the status "SOLD" shall be displayed until the artwork is replaced.
5. Every artwork sold through Adisilbay must be accompanied by an Authenticity Certificate, duly signed by the artist.
6. The artist shall provide care, handling, framing, cleaning, varnishing, and maintenance instructions for each artwork wherever applicable.

Originality, Copyright & Promotional Usage

1. The artist confirms that all submitted artworks are original creations and do not infringe upon any copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights.
2. Copyright of the artwork shall remain with the artist. However, the artist grants Adisilbay permission to use submitted artwork images and artist information for promotional purposes, including the website, catalogues, brochures, social media, advertisements, newsletters, and other publicity materials.
3. Any change in artwork price or availability must be communicated to Adisilbay in writing before any sale is confirmed.
4. Adisilbay reserves the right to remove any artwork that violates its policies or contains misleading information.

Packing, Dispatch & Related Charges

1. After confirmation of sale, the artist shall pack and dispatch the artwork within the agreed timeline.
2. The artist shall be responsible for the quality of packing and the safe condition of the artwork until it is handed over to the courier or buyer. So fix the price accordingly.
3. Courier charges, insurance, taxes, customs duties (where applicable), and other statutory charges shall be mutually agreed upon before dispatch.

Artist Payment, Reservations & Commissions

1. Payment to the artist shall be processed after successful receipt of payment from the buyer and after deduction of the applicable commission and agreed charges.
2. If an artwork is reserved or commissioned, the artist shall not sell the same artwork elsewhere until the reservation period has expired or has been cancelled.

Amendments, Disputes & Policy Compliance

1. Adisilbay reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions whenever necessary. Artists shall be informed of any significant changes.
2. Any dispute arising out of these Terms and Conditions shall first be resolved through mutual discussion. Failing such resolution, the matter shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Puducherry, India.
3. Adisilbay reserves the right to suspend or discontinue the online display of any artwork or artist profile if these Terms and Conditions are violated.
4. Artists are encouraged to submit a brief description or concept note for each artwork to enhance viewer understanding and appreciation.
5. Submission of artworks to Adisilbay Online Art Gallery shall constitute acceptance of all the above Terms and Conditions.
